A matter of convenience

I purchased this portable carrier several years ago from another vendor. They have become quite visible in recent years. My closest friend mentioned that they would like to have one. Immediately I thought about Amazon.com and what do you know, I found it. Now my friend is using it and enjoying the ease of use and convenience. It holds so much and its very convenient for carrying groceries, tools, meeting materials, craft materials, etc. I plan to purchase another one for myself very soon before they disappear. It makes a great gift too.

I bought by husband this to haul his textbooks back and forth. It already has a crack in it and a big chunk of plastic came off it. I would’ve sent it back but was not up for the hassle. DO NOT BOTHER BUYING THIS ITEM.
It fell apart

I needed something to transport teaching materials; I teach at a college with several campuses and need to haul stuff around with me. The handle jammed after a few months and cannot be fully retracted. Then the hinges holding the bottom on snapped. I transport a lot of books and papers (and sometimes other heavy items), but I thought the cart would be tough enough to handle it. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The thing has begun to fall apart and the bottom dropped out recently while I was using it. Also, some pieces of plastic have broken off. I admit that I put it to a lot of hard use but I didn’t throw it downstairs or put 50-pound rocks in it. I now need a new cart, and I am going to try a different brand…perhaps Rubbermaid, which has a good reputation for toughness.

I love this cart. It is very useful for carrying almost anything. Its uses are only limited by your imagination. I have transported food, books, and many other items. This is great for anyone who has seminars, conferences, display products, and more.
Too Fragile

The first two didn’t survive shipping. The next one arrived with a latch off and the springs missing. However, it did last for two years in this crippled condition. When it finally cracked from being used by someone unfamiliar with with its’ idiosyncrasies, my wife asked for another one.
Two weeks ago it arrived and was put into service hauling groceries. The handle malfunctioned on first use and a wheel proved to be cracked.
I stomped it to flinders and put in in the trash. Good concept imperfectly realized.
Extremely Disappointed

We bought this in December, 2008 but after a few uses of carefully hauling books, it fell apart. I spent a lot of time reading the product reviews. I settled on this because of the good reviews. After it happened to us, I went back to the reviews and read a review from a Teacher who had the same experience as us. So this is not an isolated incident. I will not buy this product again. It is not as it is claimed to be. Buyer beware.

This cart was a great price and about $20 less on Amazon than in local stores like Target. It is very light weight, but sturdy. I use it as a teacher to haul books, files,etc. from my car to classroom and from my classroom to various places in the building. ESPECIALLY library books! Great to find it so cheap on Amazon. Fast shipping! Plan to buy several more because of the price and ease to fold it flat when not in use, which is not very often!

We find the Grand Pack-N-Roll foldable cart invaluable for transporting materials throughout the office and between locations on campus. We give them heavy use and they hold up remarkably well. The only problem we tend to have is with the side clips breaking off when they receive really rough handling. Good item, reasonably priced, and an excellent vendor!

The reviews suggested that this would be a great pack for teachers. I have found this to not be true. The plastic at the bottom is much too thin to handle a pack of papers and books. Mine cracked to pieces. It was hard to believe because I am careful with my equipment and also am careful about what I spend my hard earned money on. Well, after using it for about a month, I had cracked pieces all over my car and classroom. And I bought the 39 dollar crate, not the 20 dollar one. You know, nothing is better than a milk crate. A milk crate lasts forever, even though it looks a little tacky. I would not suggest you spend your money on this product. Cindy

An Absolute Godsend!

This is a great idea for teachers, as evidenced by the previous reviews. I’m not a teacher, but I do coach a team of customer care representatives. I am forever bogged down with stuff I have to drag to work…my laptop, purse, lunch, and sodas (because I’m too cheap to buy them from the machines!). I frequently bring food to work for my team too, and crockpots of chili get heavy very quickly! I live alone (the indentured servants I gave birth to had the audacity to grow up and leave me to my own devices) and it can be challenge to bring in cases of soda, water, cat litter and other heavy household items. This thing is a godsend! It folds down to occupy a minimal amount of space and pops right back up with ease. It rolls very smoothly and the handle adjusts easily. I keep mine in the trunk of my car unless I need it inside my apartment. It’s also quite handy for carting my Amazon packages from the apartment office!
I think everyone should have one of these. I know one thing is certain…both my parents are getting one for Christmas!

Just what I needed. A godsend. I’m an adjunct professor with what seems like a ton of books, binders, papers and supplies to lug from my car to the classroom to the learning center, back to the classroom and finally to the car. This makes life so easy. No more backaches, sore hips or shoulders.

I bought this because it is always awkward to get the groceries out of the trunk of the car (multiple runs to and from the trunk to the fridge with stuff dropping all the time and stuff warming up in the summer heat). To my surprise this item folds flat to a tiny footprint but when opened up us a huge and -most important- sturdy crate that can hold TONS.
We have found outselves using this not only for groceries but also for carrying our chairs and towels from the parking lot to the beach, heck, we’ve even transported our 7 yr old with a cut in his foot on this thing. Gotta love a truly useful tool like this.

This is the book cart for you if you are a teacher, a mother, or someone who has to take a lot of stuff along with you. Very strong and the wheels work great. I have had similar carts but none were this quality.
